Why settle for preservative packed shop bought guacamole when it only takes a few minutes to knock up your own?
Ingredients
Serves 1
- 2 large, ripe avocados
- 1 green chilli
- The juice of 2 limes
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- Salt and freshly ground pepper

Method
- Put the lime juice, coriander, garlic in a bowl
- Peel, remove the stones and roughly chop 2 ripe avocados.
- Deseed and finely chop the green chilli.
- Blend the avocado and chilli in a bowl along with the lime juice, garlic and coriander.
- Season to taste with salt and plenty of freshly ground black pepper.
- Try mixing in a peeled and chopped tomato for added colour and texture.
