Why settle for preservative packed shop bought guacamole when it only takes a few minutes to knock up your own?

Ingredients

Serves 1

  • 2 large, ripe avocados
  • 1 green chilli
  • The juice of 2 limes
  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
  • RYVITA® Multiseed Thins (enough to share!)

Method

  • Put the lime juice, coriander, garlic in a bowl
  • Peel, remove the stones and roughly chop 2 ripe avocados.
  • Deseed and finely chop the green chilli.
  • Blend the avocado and chilli in a bowl along with the lime juice, garlic and coriander.
  • Season to taste with salt and plenty of freshly ground black pepper.
  • Try mixing in a peeled and chopped tomato for added colour and texture.

"I love the oat and pumpkin seed ryvita but wish it was a little softer as I find it a bit hard going as I am getting older and the nashers are not what they were."
