Three Day Soup
Don't just ham it - get it tasty too

Ingredients
- RYVITA® Dark Rye Crispbread
- A ham bone
- Mixed lentils
- Finely chopped carrots
Method
Take the Ham bone to boiling point, then leave in the pot full of water to simmer for two to three hours.
Allow to cool.
Add lentils which have been soaked in water overnight and sieved.
Simmer for another 90 minutes, then add carrots and a crushed chicken stock cube and simmer for another 45 minutes. Keep topping up with boiling water. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Remove bone and peel off and chop any remaining ham and put the meat back into the soup.
Simmer for another 15 minutes.
For one or two persons - put the remainder in freezer bags for servings over the next two days.
