Ingredients
- RYVITA® Multigrain Crispbread
- butternut squash
- yellow or red lentils (dahl)
- chicken or veg stock
- if you wish, can add sweet potatos
Method
Rinse and soak the lentils as per instruction on the pack, then cook in stock with cubed squash and sweet potatos.
You can leave the vegetables as they are or make the soup smooth the the blender.
Add (hot) paprika, cumin, pepper and salt to taste.
You can make the soup with North African spices such as Shawarma mix or Ras al Hanout to give a different vibe to your taste buds.
If you wish, you can add smoked ham but this soup really, REALLY tasty without the meat, too.
