Simple & smooth ham & lentil soup

The most simple & satisfying winter soup ever.

Method

1/2 fill a large pan with 1 litre water. Into the pan place 500g of lentils, 500g of ham and 500g of roughly chopped carrots. bring to the boil and then reduce heat and simmer for 2-3 hours. Take the ham out and put the remaining mixture through a food processor until smooth. Dice the cooked ham and add back to the now smooth soup. If the soup is too thick for your personal taste, simply add water. Eat & enjoy - serves 8.
