Easy Onion Soup

This soup is very light, clean and tasty,very nice to have at lunchtime or as a starter before your main meal.

RYVITA® Recipe

Ingredients

  • RYVITA® Original Crispbread
  • 2 x onions
  • 1 litre of vegtable stock
  • 1 tbs of marmite.
  • 2 tbs of olive oil
  • little bit of sugar
  • Cheddar Cheese to garnish

Method

Peel and slice onions. Saute them in the olive oil and sugar for about 1/2 hour, stirring now and then until they are a rich, caramalised brown. Add the vegtable stock,and the marmite and simmer for about 10 minutes. Serve with a little of the cheese on top with your ryvita on the side.
