How will you be celebrating the Royal Wedding?
If the weather allows I am planning to fire up the BBQ for the first time this year, open some bottles of bubbly and chill out with friends and family. Even if the weather is a little chilly, we will use the conservatory or wrap up nice and warm!
What will you and your friends/family be eating?
The kids tend to like the usual BBQ food, especially homemade burgers but I hope to cook something more interesting for the adults. I think a slow cooked pork belly with Chinese spices could be good or seafood skewers served with spiced rice, salad and crisp white wine would also work well!
What inspired you to come up with your recipe suggestions?
I am one of those people that watch all the cooking programmes and sit there saying " I could do better". I am a real foodie and enjoy foods from all over the world and love trying new things. I am hoping to squeeze in some "Chef" lessons this year.
What is your favourite Ryvita recipe you've ever made?
To be honest, I haven't made my royal Ryvita recipe yet but am convinced it will be a winner when I do. Onion Bhaji, Smoked Salmon and a cool mint and coriander dressing. A good friend of mine owns two Indian Restaurants and I have always loved Curry more than any other dish. I think this combination would taste great and offer mixed textures. You could break up the Crispbread into smaller pieces and serves as Canapes!
