This September, we're raising money for Tickled Pink, the Asda charity which aims to make life easier for people with breast cancer. We are donating 10 pence from every pack of Dark Rye sold in Asda. James, tells us how the Ryvita team got involved in the office...
Name- James Kidman
Position at Ryvita- Taste and Development Technologist
How did you raise money for Tickled Pink?- The 23rd August was a perfect opportunity for everyone to get in touch with their feminine side as we had a ‘wear it pink' day at work. The highlight has to be one of the sales guys in a pink wig, but we all got into the spirit of it, and I wore a pink tie and hat for the day! We also had a charity bake sale, where colleagues had baked a delicious selection of cakes- I have to admit to sampling quite a few! The pink cupcakes went very fast, though the carrot cake was my favourite.
What would you say to people who are thinking about getting involved? Do it, it's great fun and certainly brightened up a normal Monday! All the money raised is going to a really good cause- so many women are affected by breast cancer, and raising awareness and early diagnosis are key. So, dig deep and collect that cash!
We would like to hear from you which charity you support and why?

ReportI'd donate the money to Poole hospital. As an ex employee of Ryvita I worked with Pauline Polley another ex employee for many years, she is a continued fighter of Cancer. She raises money for her cause and I would like to continue helping her in this way. We had many fund raisers over our years at Ryvita and I'm sure she would really appreciate your continued support.

Reportmy local old age home would be the recipient - having cared for my father in law so well - making his last few weeks so comfortable and not farming him out to a hospice - i know they are suffering financially and every member of staff is worth their weight in gold

ReportI support the Nature in Art Trust who work to engage a wide range of people with art inspired by nature. They work with so many different groups and provide activities so that everyone can get involved in whatever way they can.

ReportI support the severn Freewheelers, AKA Bloodbikes. They're a voluntary group of bikers who do out of hours emergency transport of blood, notes etc between hospitals. Our bike club did a charity ride for them earlier this year and made 800 pounds - another 100 would be fab...

ReportI'd donate the money to my local Animal Care shelter, they do a wonderful job but are permanently short of funds. They never destroy a healthy animal, but are full to capacity. I have had several lovely pets from there, they are well worth supporting.
