Middle Eastern Egg & Harissa


The carrot and cumin flavours in the bakes combine beautifully with the harissa for a delicious flavour of the Middle East.

Ingredients

Serves 1

1 egg (50g)

2 tbsp. natural yogurt (90g)

1/2 tsp harissa

1/2 tsp sumac (1.4g)

2 Ryvita Bakes Carrot and Cumin (43g)

Method

  1. Cook the egg in boiling water for 6 minutes. Run under cold water then peel and cut in half.
  2. Spread 1 tbsp. yogurt onto each rye cake then swirl through 1/4 tsp harissa over each. Add half an egg to each and sprinkle with the sumac to serve.
